Every summer, the gardens of Castell de Peralada are transformed into one of Europe’s most iconic stages for classical music and the performing arts. The 2025 edition of the Castell de Peralada Festival promises an exceptional program that blends opera, dance, recitals and new creations—all within a unique natural and historical setting in the heart of the Alt Empordà.
The 39th edition of the festival will take place from July 3 to July 18, 2025, featuring a total of 12 performances bringing together renowned names in opera, dance and instrumental music. Highlights include:

Joyce DiDonato (July 3): The American mezzo-soprano will perform a recital accompanied by pianist Craig Terry.

Lorena Nogal (July 4): Will present the contemporary dance piece Le Terroir.

Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía & Accademia del Piacere (July 10): Will collaborate on Origen. La semilla de los tiempos.

William Christie & Les Arts Florissants (July 12): Will present Handel’s oratorio Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno.

Angel Blue (July 13): The American soprano will perform with pianist Bryan Wagorn.

Elena Tarrats, Silvia Costa & others (July 16): Will present the multidisciplinary work Hort / Garden.

Conxita Badia i Pau Casals (July 17): A musical tribute entitled Melodies compartides.

Sonya Yoncheva (July 18): The Bulgarian soprano will close the festival with a recital accompanied by pianist Antoine Palloc.
